Claim your Compensation
Passengers on non-European airlines such as Qantas may not be aware that when a flight delay or cancellation occurs on flights originating from a European airport, they may be entitled to compensation from the airline under EU law.
Flight delays, overbookings, and even cancellations can happen for any number of reasons. And when it’s beyond your control, it’s more than just a nuisance. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, air passenger rights Regulation EU 261/2004 stipulates that compensation is due in the event of a flight delay, cancellation or denied boarding due to overbooking.
